Delete your account

You can delete your Loop account here without opening the app. The app has the same option: Settings → Delete my account.

What is deleted?

Your profile (username, display name, bio, avatar), your password hash and your sessions.
Your posts and every comment, like, move and notification attached to them.
Your comments on other people’s posts. When someone already replied to one, only its text is removed and its author shows as “Deleted user”.
Your likes, follows, blocks, messages, badges, memory and circle records and game statistics.
Your Energy and Action: your Energy and Action wallet (your permanent balance, including what came from coffee, and your daily allowance records), your rewarded-ad tickets, your personal invite code and your time zone. Remaining Energy and Action are not refunded and do not move to a new account.
Your player record in the AWS (Frankfurt) copy is anonymized; the texts of your posts are removed.

A Loop+ subscription you bought on the App Store or Google Play. Its perks end with your account, but the subscription carries on in the store: it keeps renewing and billing until you cancel it. Cancel it in the App Store or Google Play subscription settings before you delete your account. If you sign up again with the same store account, “Restore purchases” in the shop can move the subscription to the new account.
Your purchase records (coffee and Loop+: product, price, date, store transaction id, status), your Loop+ subscription record, your Energy ledger (every Energy grant, spend, refund and clawback) and your permanent Action grants: for as long as accounting and tax law requires, unlinked from your identity. Only hashes of the ad verifications (the ids in the ad network’s reward notices) stay, so that the same ad reward is never credited twice. Your invite relation (who invited whom and the outcome; a pending invite becomes void) stays linked to the anonymous record to prevent abuse.
A deletion record without your identity (date, channel, number of removed rows) and AI cost records that hold no personal data.
Records we are legally required to keep, only for the period the law requires.

This cannot be undone. You may sign up again with the same username, but your old content will not come back.
